VIDEO PRODUCTION

Filming:

For your corporate exposure, advertising, training, up loading onto your website and keepsakes for incentive tours, we will film your conference, gala dinner, promotion, celebration, entertainment and or interesting travel tours with one or more high quality video cameras operated by experienced cameramen in either standard – SD or high definition – HD.

We generally recommend the use of at least 2 video cameras or 1 more, to provide more professional, interesting and varied video footage.

At the same time as filming one could also perform live relay to screens or live video streaming which would require on line editing with a mixing director, instructing the cameramen over comm sets and operating the sound and multi camera mix.

Editing:

We also specialise in video editing.

This involves discussion with the client and receiving a full brief. Important factors here are the length of the final edit or edits and the ‘feel’ required, whether conservative, moody, festive, humorous etc.

For the edits, we provide titling, various transitions, video and audio effects, music, the inclusion of extra images, presentation slides and or footage such as interviews – in fact whatever applications that will finally provide the client with effective, meaningful edits.

The edits can then be compressed if necessary and burned to DVD discs, transferred to flash drives, up loaded onto websites or elsewhere on the internet.

HAVE A LOOK AT OUR FILM EDITS

The first 2 edits were hurriedly filmed and edited to promote the freeing of Prof Karabus, a South African Professor who was the former head of oncology and haematology at Red Cross Children’s hospital in Cape Town. He had been detained in Abu Dhabi under preposterous circumstances. Happily he was freed some months later as a result of enormous publicity and world condemnation of the situation.

Flash mob performed at V & A Waterfront

The Centre for High Performance Computers (CHPC) launched the Fastest Computer on the Continent at the CSIR in Cape Town in June 2016.
Sevent received the tender for the provision of all the audio visual equipment and services for this event. We teamed up with AV Direct on this project.
Part of the brief was to film and edit the launch. We filmed it with 3 HD Cameras and Peter Hirschson produced this final edit.

The New Zadig & Voltaire fragrances #thisishim and #thisisher were lavishly launched at Roodebloem Studios in Cape Town.
Sevent planned and project managed the Audio Visual Staging for this event having teamed up with AV Direct once again. We used LED Parcans and moving head intelligent lights fixed to truss stands as well as a full range sound system and a super bright Christie Data Projector
